Resound is a web-based AI podcast editor for creators and podcasters who want to reduce editing time without relying only on manual waveform trimming. It detects filler sounds such as ums and ahs, identifies long silences, and lets users review suggested edits before preserving or removing them. Manual trimming, project autosave, revisions, AI mixing and mastering, and multiple export formats make it suited to spoken-word production workflows.

The free plan includes filler sound detection, silence detection, manual trimming, and MP3 export. A 14-day trial is available, while the Creator plan costs $15 per month and adds Enhance, multitrack editing, and MP3, WAV, AAF, and MP4 export. Professional costs $30 per month with the same listed feature set. Studio costs $60 per month and adds API access. Enterprise includes 50+ hours of processed audio, API access, an onboarding call, priority support, and a private Slack channel. The cheapest paid plan lists 240 minutes of processed audio.

Resound’s strongest fit is focused AI cleanup for English podcast audio. Enhance supports AI mixing and mastering, while integrations with Pro Tools and Logic Pro help connect the editor with established audio workflows. The API extends AI editing predictions beyond the web interface. However, the product is narrower than editors built around transcript-based workflows: transcript editing is not included, and filler-sound detection has not been optimized for languages other than English. Choose Resound for filler and silence cleanup, multitrack editing, and flexible exports; choose another tool if multilingual processing or transcript-led editing is central to the workflow.
