Repeat Signage is Windows-based digital signage software for creating, scheduling, and playing presentations on display screens. It is suited to schools, healthcare organizations, retailers, hospitality businesses, manufacturers, offices, and other teams using dedicated Windows playback computers. Content options include images, animated GIFs, SVG, audio, video, PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, RTF, RSS, text, spreadsheets, web pages, QR codes, and database information. Offline playback is available, and the Standalone edition supports manual updating without network features.

Pricing follows a one-time per-Windows-PC model. The Standalone Edition costs $200 and provides basic non-networked software. The Standard Edition costs $345 and adds scheduling, network updating, and remote updating. The Corporate Edition costs $475 and adds SQL database query and display support alongside scheduling and remote updating. The Media Wall Edition costs $610 and includes two- to four-screen video walls and database support. A Standard Edition site licence is available for UK education and public sector organizations. The trial has no expiry date for creating presentations, but playback is limited to 10 minutes before a trial watermark appears.

Its main fit is local Windows control with a wide set of content inputs and update paths, including network drives, FTP, remote Internet updating, RepeatServer.com, RSS, XML, CSV, Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, and ODBC databases. Corporate and Media Wall editions extend the software into database-driven signage, while video wall support allows multiple screens from one Windows computer. The trade-off is narrow platform coverage: organizations needing non-Windows playback should choose another product. Repeat Signage makes the most sense for buyers standardizing on Windows hardware and valuing offline operation, scheduling, remote updates, or multi-screen displays.

Repeat Signage pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Supports offline playback and manual updating with the Standalone edition
    • Handles documents, media, RSS, web pages, QR codes, and spreadsheets
    • Supports two-, three-, or four-screen video walls from one Windows computer
  • Where it doesn't
    • Runs only on Windows playback computers
    • Starts at $200 one-time per Windows PC
    • Higher editions are needed for databases and multi-screen video walls
