Rentger review
A capable free property management suite for small landlords, limited by web-only access.

Rentger is cloud-based property management software for owners, property managers and real estate businesses. It brings property, tenant, owner and supplier records together with online rent collection, payment tracking, rental accounting, maintenance incidents, contracts, digital signatures, communications and reporting. The tenant portal provides access to receipts, invoices and incidents, while bank reconciliation and SEPA files support rental administration. Its free Freemium plan covers portfolios of up to nine properties, making the product especially relevant to small landlords who want accounting and operational tools without an initial subscription.
The plan structure is straightforward. Freemium includes property management, contract handling, document management, digital signatures, incident management and basic accounting reports. Professional adds a custom logo, custom document, email and incident templates, accounting accounts, API access, custom asset attributes and operator account management. Custom provides personalized plans for large portfolios. Paid plans are charged per property, with pricing starting at 3.75, and a 30-day free trial is available. Integrations include Dropbox, Holded, idealista, Inmovilla, online payments and bank connections, which may help teams align Rentger with existing rental, payment and banking workflows.
Rentger’s main strength is breadth for smaller portfolios: rent collection, tenant communication, maintenance assignment, supplier quotes, contract generation, reconciliation and reports sit in one web interface. The responsive interface works through computers, tablets and mobile phones, but access remains web-only rather than through native mobile apps. That makes it a sensible choice for landlords who prioritize free accounting and core property operations in a browser. Larger operators or teams that need deeper customization, API-based connections, or native mobile applications should consider alternatives with broader platform coverage or more advanced enterprise controls.
