Our verdict on RealMath
RealMath is a browser-based math learning platform for teachers and students, primarily covering grades 6–8. Its interactive Mini Labs, multi-day Labs, competitions, skill practice, and classroom activities are aligned with middle-school math topics. Real-world contexts, instant answer validation, randomized questions, and a live teacher console support whole-class instruction, homework, independent practice, remediation, enrichment, and multi-day projects. Teachers seeking structured, standards-aligned activities with visibility into student progress should find the focus relevant.
Pricing is organized around a permanent Free plan and paid Pro, Department, and School plans. Free includes the first Lab, auto-grading and randomization, a live teacher console, and all grade levels. Pro costs $100 per teacher per year with annual billing or $10 per teacher per month with monthly billing, adding unlimited activity assignments, all Labs and Competitions, Google Classroom synchronization, co-teacher access, folders, and PDF exports. Department costs $399 per year for everything in Pro for five teachers, with one invoice and purchase-order support. School costs $999 per year and adds SSO, Clever and ClassLink rostering, LTI and LMS integration, an admin dashboard, and priority support.
RealMath’s strongest fit is classroom-centered instruction rather than individualized learning. Live progress visibility, randomized questions, auto-grading, and standards-aligned skill practice give teachers useful control over assigned work, while Google Classroom, Clever, ClassLink, LTI, and LMS connections support broader school workflows on the relevant plans. The tradeoff is a web-only experience without offline access, adaptive learning, or parent reporting. Choose RealMath for real-world activities, Labs, competitions, and teacher oversight; consider another option if adaptive pathways, family-facing reports, or offline learning are central requirements.
