ready2order is a cloud-based point-of-sale and payment system for small businesses in retail, gastronomy, and service industries. It combines sales processing with product, customer, supplier, variation, inventory, employee, payment, and reporting functions. The system supports computers, tablets, and smartphones across web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, with an API also available. Small restaurants are the clearest fit because the platform supports table plans, split bills, kitchen ordering, takeaway, and cashless card-terminal payments.
Pricing is paid, with no free plan and a 7-day free trial. The POS License is €430.80 per device per year, billed annually, and includes the basic functions, quick setup, free support, and cross-platform access. The Gastro Package costs €23.90 per month or €286.80 per year, adding table plan and management, wireless ordering to the kitchen or bar, separate bills, happy hour, and takeaway. Cashbook costs €13.90 monthly or €166.80 annually, while Digital Receipt costs €7.90 monthly or €94.80 annually. Prices are shown in EUR and exclude VAT.
Its strongest differentiator is breadth for a small hospitality operation. Inventory and warehouse management supports scanning, employee accounts include permissions and user switching, and reports cover sales, employees, payments, products, and product groups. Offline transaction processing can synchronize later, while accounting exports and recurring reports support back-office work. The trade-off is a per-device annual POS license with separate charges for several restaurant and receipt functions. Choose ready2order when restaurant workflows, offline continuity, and broad operating-system support matter; businesses seeking a free POS or a simpler single-purpose checkout tool may prefer a narrower option.
