RankGenius review
A credit-based Amazon data API for rank lookups, product details, reviews, and recurring watches.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
RankGenius provides live Amazon marketplace data through a REST API and an MCP server for AI clients. It is aimed at sellers and developers building scripts, dashboards, or AI agents that need search rank, product, offer, or review data. It is a focused data service rather than a conventional Amazon SEO suite, so teams looking for keyword research or listing optimization should look elsewhere.
The API can return organic search results and ASIN ranks for a keyword, along with Buy Box owner, price, stock, and competing offers. It also exposes structured product-page details such as title, bullets, images, and Best Sellers Rank, plus paginated customer reviews and star breakdowns. Results span 21 Amazon marketplaces. Recurring watches can record results as time series, which suits workflows that need repeated snapshots rather than a one-off lookup. Claude, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible clients are listed as integrations.
Pricing is based on one-time credit bundles, not recurring subscriptions. According to the published plans, $5 buys 5,000 credits for approximately 500 requests; $10 buys 10,000 credits for approximately 1,000 requests; $25 buys 25,000 credits for approximately 2,500 requests; $50 buys 50,000 credits for approximately 5,000 requests; and $100 buys 100,000 credits for approximately 10,000 requests. A limited API trial offers 100 requests, but there is no ongoing free plan. RankGenius fits developers who can consume structured marketplace data through API or MCP workflows; sellers seeking a broader research and listing-optimization toolkit should choose a different type of product.
