Ragic is a no-code platform for building customizable business database applications. It suits established teams managing operational data across related tables, forms, approval processes, and user groups. Teams can create custom sheets, link records, add subtables for one-to-many relationships, and control access at sheet, group, user, and field levels. Web, iOS, and Android access make it relevant for distributed work, while offline mobile support is a notable fit for teams that need database access away from a reliable connection.

Pricing ranges from a Free plan to enterprise configurations. Free includes three custom sheets with 1,000 records each, unlimited templates with unlimited records, and unlimited users. Lite costs $5 per user per month and adds unlimited records, five custom sheets, and unlimited templates. Professional costs $19 per user per month with unlimited records, unlimited custom sheets, and an on-premises option. Concurrent users costs $499 per 10 concurrent users per month, while Enterprise costs $550 per 10 users per month and adds a dedicated managed VM, SSO, SLA, and sandbox environment. Enterprise concurrent user costs $1,399 per 10 concurrent users per month and includes a dedicated server, uptime SLA, unlimited users, and a sandbox environment. A 30-day trial is also available.

Ragic’s main strength is breadth without abandoning database structure. Server-side JavaScript workflows, approval and daily workflows, custom action buttons, embedded widgets, and a REST-style HTTP API support operational applications that need more than simple tables. Zapier, Make, IFTTT, n8n, Google Looker Studio, SQL databases, and MCP extend its ecosystem. The trade-off is complexity and escalating cost at higher usage models. Choose Ragic if permissions, relationships, offline mobile work, APIs, or on-premises deployment matter; choose a simpler tool if the priority is a lightweight database with minimal configuration.

Ragic pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Relational sheets, linked records, and subtables support complex operational data.
    • Granular permissions, workflows, and action buttons support controlled processes.
    • Mobile apps offer offline support, with cloud and on-premises deployment options.
  • Where it doesn't
    • The Free plan limits teams to three custom sheets and 1,000 records each.
    • Advanced plans become costly, especially concurrent-user and dedicated-server options.
    • Its broad configuration model may require more planning than simpler database tools.
