RadioDock review
A free, open-source radio player with broad platform coverage and synced station lists.

RadioDock is a free, open-source internet-radio player for listeners who want to discover stations and organize them into favorites or custom lists. Its directory covers 50,000+ stations, including community and independent radio, and search can be filtered by station name or genre. RadioDock suits people who listen across different device types and prefer not to create an account to keep station lists in sync. It is less suited to listeners who need downloads or offline playback.
Its breadth across web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, and Chrome Extension is a notable part of the product’s fit. Lists sync across devices without an account, and users can import or export station collections or share lists through private links. Playback includes background audio and lock-screen and Bluetooth controls on supported devices. These features give RadioDock more organizational flexibility than a simple station directory, while keeping the focus on finding and listening to radio rather than a broader audio library.
The main trade-off is that listening depends on a station stream being available: offline listening is not supported. Now-playing metadata is also conditional on stations publishing it, so it will not be consistent across the directory. RadioDock is free and ad-free, and its support channel is the community. Choose it if free access, open source, cross-platform use, and portable station collections matter most; consider another option if offline playback or a more direct support channel is essential.
