Our verdict on QuizWitz
QuizWitz is a browser-based platform for creating, sharing and hosting interactive quizzes. It suits families, teams, pubs, businesses, educators, conference organizers and livestream audiences that want structured, game-focused participation. Players can join from smartphones, tablets or computers, while hosts can run party games, presentations, conferences and QuizWitz Live events. Question formats include multiple-choice, open, image-map, order and list questions, with support for trivia and lightning rounds.
The plan structure scales from small gatherings to large hosted events. The Free plan includes an online quiz creator, Party Game mode and up to six players. Premium adds customizable quizzes, up to 100 players and QuizWitz Credits. PRO tiers support up to 50, 100, 500, 1,000 or 2,000 teams, are billed annually, and include QuizWitz Live and Conference mode plus the Quizmaster App and Jury App. PRO credits support live games for audiences of up to 2,000 players, making the higher tiers more relevant to organized events than casual quizzes.
QuizWitz stands out through its live-event controls and answer handling. The Quizmaster App manages pacing, while the Jury App helps review and score open answers. Image, video and audio attachments add variety, and integrations with Zoom, Skype, Google Meet, Google Hangouts and Discord support remote or distributed hosting.
