QuickField is Windows desktop finite-element analysis software for electromagnetic, thermal and stress simulations, including coupled multiphysics analysis. Its modeling, mesh generation, solver and postprocessing tools are aimed at engineering, research and education users working with magnetic, electric and thermostructural applications. The permanently free Student Edition makes it accessible for learning and smaller models, while the mesh-size limit may constrain larger work.

Modeling options include importing STEP 3D CAD models and fragments from AutoCAD or other CAD systems, creating 3D extrusions, and viewing models in 3D. QuickField provides automatic mesh generation and methods for linear and nonlinear problems, plus postprocessing for result analysis. Microsoft Office, MATLAB and AutoCAD integrations may suit teams already working in those environments. It is an on-premises desktop application rather than browser-based software, so users seeking cloud access should look elsewhere.

The Student Edition is free with a permanent license, but has a mesh-size limit. Lite Edition is for educational organizations, and Professional Edition is the commercial edition, available as a single-user or floating network license. According to the vendor's pricing information, commercial editions are quoted based on analysis options, location and organization type. That makes QuickField a fit for Windows users who need finite-element field simulation and can work within desktop deployment; organizations that need browser access or a known upfront commercial price may prefer an alternative.
