Qlone is a mobile 3D scanning application for turning real objects into editable 3D models. It is aimed at creators, educators, 3D-printing users, AR and VR developers, and e-commerce teams. On iOS, users can scan with mat-free AR or photo modes, while mat-based scanning provides another capture method. Local processing on iPhone and Mac keeps the core workflow centered on Apple platforms.

The editing toolkit goes beyond basic capture. Qlone supports automatic merging of scans from two angles, mesh cleanup, hole filling, smoothing, erasing, mesh simplification, sculpting, texture painting, and texture adjustment. Automatic rigging and AR animation extend the output toward interactive assets. Models can be exported in OBJ, STL, FBX, GLB, USDZ, PLY, and X3D formats, giving the app a practical path into 3D tools, printing workflows, AR experiences, and online marketplaces.

Its ecosystem connections include Sketchfab, i.materialise, Lens Studio, Shapeways, CGTrader, iMessage, and WhatsApp. Qlone follows a freemium model: the free experience covers scanning, while listed purchases include Premium Features, Unlimited Exports, Unlimited Premium, and One Hundred Cloud Credits. Unlimited Premium combines premium features, unlimited exports, and 50 cloud credits for mat-free scans. Qlone is a good fit for iPhone-centered creators who need scanning, cleanup, and export options in one app. Teams requiring Android, web access, or broader platform coverage should choose another tool.
