Puree is web-based catering management software for solo operators, small businesses, growing caterers, and larger teams handling venues, suppliers, and complex events. Its workflow spans customer enquiries, professional quotes and proposals with online acceptance, configurable menus and per-guest packages, order line items, event briefs, packing lists, delivery run sheets, kitchen dockets, staff rosters, venue bookings, online forms, payments, and accounting connections. The freemium model gives startup caterers and very small operators an entry point, while a 30-day trial provides another way to assess the product before adopting a paid plan.

Pricing is organized across Freemium, Lite, Essentials, and Professional. The Lite annual plan is listed at USD 650 per year and includes order dockets, customer menus, event staff rosters, delivery run sheets, order sticker creation, and free onboarding support. Essentials adds item photos in quotes and sales reports, while Professional adds venue management, external supplier management, online order forms, online menus, and online enquiry forms. The published plans show a progression from core operational documents to broader customer-facing and venue workflows.

Puree’s strongest fit is for caterers that need one system to connect sales, event preparation, delivery, kitchen activity, staffing, and payment collection. Stripe supports payment requests, deposits, balances, and receipts; Google Calendar supports synchronization; and Deputy connects to rostering. The product is less suited to teams requiring a desktop-native application or a verified electronic contract-signing workflow. Caterers choosing Puree should value broad operational coverage and a free-to-paid path; smaller operators with only one narrow scheduling need may not require its wider feature set.
