Projectworks is a cloud-based professional services automation platform for consulting and other time-based services firms. It brings proposals, project delivery, resource planning, time and expense tracking, invoicing, forecasting, and financial reporting into one system. Its stated audience includes engineering, architecture, management consulting, software services, life sciences, and cybersecurity businesses. The core fit is a growing services firm that needs a closer connection between capacity, utilization, project margins, billing, and forecasting.

The published annual plans start with Build at $17 per user per month, covering project financial reporting, time tracking, resourcing, and invoicing. Scale costs $24 per user per month and adds Jira and DevOps integrations, HubSpot, HRIS and payroll integrations, multi-office and multi-currency support, and single sign-on. The highest listed tier adds multi-entity support, an API, purchase orders, unlimited custom fields, and unlimited custom reports. Enterprise arrangements include ongoing services, custom-built integrations, and custom-built reports. Pricing uses a minimum of 10 users and billing bands of five, while a 21-day trial provides an evaluation period.

Integration breadth is a major part of the product's fit. Projectworks connects with Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, Sage Intacct, HubSpot, Salesforce, Jira, Azure DevOps, Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, BambooHR, Employment Hero, Monday.com, and other listed systems. The platform is available on the web, through a Chrome extension, and via API. Resource planning, capacity management, utilization reporting, project budgets, WIP, margin analysis, invoice creation from time and expense data, and AI-assisted resourcing support an end-to-end services workflow. Choose Projectworks when profitability and operational coordination are central priorities; consider another option if the primary need is broad team collaboration rather than PSA controls.
