Premiere.Studio is an AI-assisted screenwriting application for film and television writers. It combines industry-style screenplay formatting with AI-assisted rewriting, missing-beat generation, scene generation, coverage, and outline workflows. Writers can work alone or with a team through real-time collaboration, presence, inline comments, and version history. The Free plan supports solo writing and up to two projects, making the product a fit for writers and teams evaluating a collaborative screenplay workflow before committing to a paid tier.
The plans are structured around writing volume and team-oriented production needs. Free includes Fountain, FDX, and PDF export. Studio adds 1,500 AI credits per month, about 185 pages of finished screenplay, three AI Outline Orchestrator runs per month, and all screenwriter voices. Studio Pro includes everything in Studio, then raises the allowance to 3,450 AI credits, about 430 pages, and 15 orchestrator runs per month while adding version history and production revisions. Studio Max includes Studio Pro features, 8,850 AI credits, about 1,105 pages, 50 orchestrator runs, shared style profiles, and priority support. Paid pricing is stated per writer and monthly.
Its strongest distinction is the combination of screenplay-native tools and structured AI workflows rather than AI text generation alone. The Outline Orchestrator, rewriting, missing-beat generation, and coverage features address different stages of development, while FDX, Fountain, and PDF export support common script handoffs. Collaboration and production revisions make the higher tiers more relevant to writing teams, but solo writers with limited AI needs may find the Free plan sufficient. Teams seeking a web-based workspace with shared writing and AI planning should consider Premiere.Studio; users requiring a non-web application should look elsewhere.
