A broad legal practice suite for firms that want payments alongside case management.

PracticePanther is cloud-based legal practice management software for solo practitioners and law firms. It combines contacts and matter management with workflows, document templates, calendaring, time and expense tracking, billing, online payments, client intake forms, client portals, eSignature, business texting, reporting, and legal accounting. Web, iOS, and Android access supports firms that need to record work and access firm data across devices. It is best suited to small firms looking for payments as part of a wider practice-management system rather than a standalone legal payment tool.
Pricing is structured across four paid monthly plans, all priced per user. Solo costs $49 per user per month and includes internal chat, document templates, task and event workflows, and native ePayments. Essential is $69 and adds custom fields, custom security roles, invoice read alerts, and multiple bank accounts. Business costs $89 and adds two-way business texting, intake forms, native eSignature, and LEDES billing. Business Pro costs $114 and adds PantherAccounting Plus, trust accounting, operating accounting, enhanced reconciliation, a general ledger, accounts receivable, and expense management. A 7-day free trial is available, with no free plan.
The platform’s ecosystem includes QuickBooks Online, Gmail, Outlook, Google Calendar, Dropbox, Google Drive, Zapier, Lawmatics, and Microsoft Exchange. That integration range supports accounting, communications, calendars, document storage, automation, and legal applications without separating payments from matter workflows. Its strongest distinction is breadth: firms can connect intake, documents, time tracking, billing, online payments, portals, and accounting in one product. Firms that need trust accounting should look at Business Pro, while payments-only teams may prefer a narrower tool with less practice-management scope.
