PoB Redux is a free, open-source desktop build planner for Path of Exile 1 and Path of Exile 2. It is aimed at players who want to plan passive trees, skills, socket groups, equipment and item choices while reviewing detailed build calculations, configurations and breakdowns. Build notes, party management and build management add organization around individual or shared planning work. The product runs on Windows, macOS and Linux and is MIT-licensed.

The pricing model is straightforward: PoB Redux is free and does not use paid plan tiers. That makes its full planning set available without a subscription structure, including build optimisation and rare-item design. The trade-off is product focus. PoB Redux is built specifically around the Path of Exile ecosystem and covers two games, so it fits players seeking depth in those titles rather than a general-purpose game planner. It is also a desktop product, with no mobile app.

Its ecosystem connections are a major part of the workflow. PoB Redux can import PoB XML, share codes, planner files and links from several build sites, and integrates with pobb.in, Maxroll, Mobalytics, poe.ninja, poe2db, poedb, Pastebin and Rentry. An optional Path of Exile 2 chat assistant and local MCP server extend its utility for supported coding assistants. Choose PoB Redux if you want detailed calculations, optimisation, rare-item design and cross-platform desktop support in one open-source planner. Choose an alternative if you need mobile access, broader game coverage or a simpler tool with less emphasis on build analysis.
