Our verdict on PMTraining
PMTraining offers online preparation for project management certifications, including PMP, CAPM, PgMP, PfMP, and PMI-ACP. Its Professional PMP Practice Exams plan is aimed at PMP candidates who want repeated exam-style practice: the plan includes 1,200+ PMBOK 8 questions, 20+ full-length mock exams, domain and knowledge-area quizzes, timed simulations, answer explanations, and performance tracking. The practice platform is available on web, iOS, and Android, and exam simulations run in a browser. Candidates seeking a practice system rather than a live instructor-led course should find the scope more relevant; the broader PMTraining catalog also includes instructor-led virtual classes and self-paced courses.
The published plan is a single $99 one-time purchase, with no free plan. That makes the purchase structure straightforward for buyers who prefer a one-off payment over an ongoing subscription. The Professional PMP Practice Exams plan centers on question practice and assessment: candidates can build custom quizzes and exams, review and bookmark questions, resume in-progress tests, and use progress tracking and performance analytics. Detailed explanations reference PMI, giving review sessions more context than answer checking alone. Buyers should still distinguish this exam product from PMTraining's separately described courses; the plan highlights do not say that live instruction or a structured revision schedule is included.
The strongest fit is a PMP candidate who wants full-length timed practice across web or mobile, with topic-level quizzes and tools to revisit questions. Support for resume-in-progress tests can help candidates continue a session later, while browser-based simulation keeps the exam experience accessible without installing software. The feature set described does not establish adaptive practice or revision planning, so candidates who want the platform to diagnose weak areas and prescribe a study path may prefer to compare alternatives. PMTraining is a more focused choice for people who already have a study plan and want a substantial practice-exam component than for learners seeking a guided, adaptive curriculum.
