Production planners coordinating labor, equipment and materials across manufacturing operations may find PlusPlanning a fit. This advanced planning and scheduling product calculates finite capacity from shifts, downtime, holidays, overtime, maintenance and workforce availability. It supports forward, backward and hybrid scheduling, with skill-aware operator planning and scheduling for machines, molds and tools. Multi-facility planning is available for operations whose constraints extend beyond a single plant.

Its planning depth is the main distinction: users can compare what-if scenarios, group resources, balance loads and identify bottlenecks in Gantt-based job tracking with drag-and-drop scheduling. Material constraints and ERP and MES integrations bring work orders, materials, resources and workforce data into the scheduling picture; listed integration categories also include HR systems and maintenance programs. That makes the product more relevant to manufacturers coordinating interdependent resources than to teams seeking a simple capacity calendar. The published platform listing is API, and cloud deployment is listed.

According to the vendor's pricing page, plans are lifetime licenses. Standard covers one plant, up to 1,000 tasks and up to 50 labor and machine resources; Professional covers one plant, up to 5,000 tasks and up to 100 resources. Enterprise covers one or more plants, 5,000+ tasks and 100+ resources, with pricing by contact. Each plan lists a yearly software update agreement at 20%. Email is the listed support channel. Choose PlusPlanning if detailed finite-capacity logic, skills, materials and multi-facility scheduling are central to production planning. A team needing more than one plant should consider Enterprise; a team that does not need these constraints may prefer a simpler tool.
