Planster is demand planning and inventory forecasting software for consumable CPG brands. It forecasts individual SKUs across DTC, Amazon, retail, and wholesale channels, while accounting for inventory on hand, inbound orders, and commitments. Commerce and multi-warehouse operators get reorder recommendations, purchase-order management, supplier and bill-of-materials planning, promotional planning, scenario analysis, and S&OP views in one web-based platform.
Pricing is straightforward but substantial. The monthly plan costs $1,000 per month and includes unlimited users, SKUs, warehouses and 3PLs, integrations, demand forecasting, and reorder recommendations. The annual plan costs $10,000 per year under an annual agreement and includes all platform features, plus unlimited users, SKUs, warehouses, and integrations. Planster connects with commerce systems including Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, BigCommerce, eBay, Etsy, Faire, NuOrder, TikTok, and WooCommerce, as well as WMS and 3PL platforms such as Cin7, Linnworks, Logiwa, and Manhattan Associates.
Its planning depth is the main reason to consider it. Statistical models include Prophet, ETS, SARIMA, and linear regression, with rolling 12–18 month forecasts, SKU-level tolerances, safety stock, lead times, MOQs, reorder points, and order quantities. Scenario planning previews production and capital impact, while promotional planning captures dates, SKUs, warehouses, and expected lift. Planster suits teams that need connected forecasting and inventory decisions across several channels. Smaller teams with simpler planning needs, limited historical SKU data, or a lower software budget should choose a narrower or less expensive option instead.
