Pixsama is a pixel-art editor for Android phones and tablets, aimed at solo artists and small teams creating sprites, frame-based animations and tiled artwork. Its touch-first toolset covers pencil, line, curve, shape, fill and eyedropper tools, alongside layers, layer groups, palettes and indexed-color projects. Animation is central: the timeline includes playback controls and onion skinning for comparing neighboring frames. Local storage and autosave recovery support projects kept on the device.

The published plans make the entry point straightforward. Free costs £0 one time and includes core drawing tools, a timeline with onion skinning and playback, plus PNG and native project export. Pixsama Pro costs £11.99 one time. It removes limits on canvas, layers and frames, then adds animation tags, linked cels, GIF, WebP, sprite sheets, PNG sequences and editable .ase and .aseprite import and export. The displayed Pro price is the UK price, with Google Play supplying the final local price.
