Our verdict on Pimkin
Pimkin brings email, calendars, contacts, and tasks from existing accounts into one hosted workspace. It connects to Gmail, Microsoft 365, and IMAP mailboxes, with calendar and contacts connections including CalDAV and CardDAV. The unified inbox and shared workspace make it a fit for solo users who want to manage several accounts together, while small teams may also find the combined view useful. Browser access and apps for Windows, macOS, Linux, and iPhone give it reach across common desktop and mobile environments.
Email organization is a central strength. Pimkin supports threaded conversations and composing through connected providers, plus rules to tag, move, forward, or delete messages. Per-account junk training, snooze, categories, and tags add further ways to manage incoming mail. Search spans accounts and supports saved searches and structured operators. The integration mix extends beyond mail to Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Microsoft To Do, Google Tasks, and LDAP / GAL; changes sync back to connected providers. Desktop and iPhone apps support offline reading and writing, while the browser version provides web access. This breadth suits people who want their existing services in one client rather than a replacement for those services.
The vendor describes Pimkin as currently free while it is in active development, and notes that paid plans may be introduced later. That makes it accessible to try as a cross-account client, but buyers who need stable long-term pricing should account for the possibility of future paid plans. The vendor documents encryption at rest, but email contents are not end-to-end encrypted, so users with that requirement should choose another option. Support is by email. Pimkin is a reasonable fit for individual account aggregation and a shared personal-information workspace; it is less suited to users who require end-to-end encrypted email or a fixed paid-plan structure.
