Our verdict on PhotoProofPro
PhotoProofPro is a web-based photo proofing service for photographers who need to share images with clients, gather feedback, and manage selections or orders. Its workflow centers on password-protected client galleries, with support for favorites, photo selections, configurable comments, ratings, ordering, emailed selections, and instructions. Photographers can also manage clients, shoots, galleries, and orders, while clients access proof pages using passcodes. The interface is mobile-friendly and available in multiple languages.
Pricing follows a freemium model. The Starter plan is free and does not require a credit card. Medium costs $13 per month with annual billing or $15 per month with monthly billing. Large costs $28 per month annually or $35 per month monthly, while Deluxe costs $40 per month annually or $46 per month monthly. Paid plans add storage, client capacity, unlimited galleries, image watermarking, full-resolution downloads, and removal of PhotoProofPro branding. The published plan highlights specifically show unlimited galleries, watermarking, full-resolution downloads, and no PhotoProofPro branding for the paid tiers.
The product’s main strength is its focused proofing workflow rather than a broad creative-business ecosystem. Watermarks, download controls, client favorites, ratings, comments, and ordering cover the key steps between sharing a gallery and receiving a client decision. Its web-only availability and lack of verified integrations make it less suitable for photographers seeking a connected platform that fits into a wider tool stack. Choose PhotoProofPro if straightforward client proofing and ordering are the priority; consider an alternative if native integrations or broader platform coverage matter more.
