PhoenixLMS review
A focused tutoring-center system with strong billing and guardian visibility.

PhoenixLMS brings tutoring-center administration into one web and API platform. It covers class scheduling, weekly class views, attendance statuses, student enrolment, trial-opportunity tracking, tutor reports, lesson records, class resources, billing, and invoicing. Its strongest fit is a center that needs billing tied to attendance, clear guardian access to account history, and connected payment or accounting workflows. The published positioning is aimed at centers managing between 100 and 400 enrolments.
Pricing is structured across four tiers. Standard costs 50 per month and includes unlimited classes and unlimited invoices. Pro costs 100 per month and adds custom branding, an Xero bank feed, a Stripe connection, and Xero payroll. Enterprise costs 200 per month and lists the same highlighted features as Pro. Custom includes all enterprise features, a private server, a custom domain, and priority support, with pricing handled separately. PhoenixLMS also advertises a two-month free trial. Centers comparing plans should focus on whether branding, Xero connectivity, payroll, or private-server deployment justify moving beyond Standard.
The operational depth is concentrated in scheduling, attendance, and finance. Staff can create invoices, bulk invoice accounts, and deliver invoices by email or SMS, while attendance-based charging can reflect attended, missed, and cancelled sessions. Guardian billing-history access adds a useful self-service layer, and tutor records and lesson reporting support instructional administration. Stripe, GoCardless, and Xero improve its fit for centers already using those services. However, the verified tutor limit is 15, so larger tutor teams should assess that constraint before choosing it. PhoenixLMS suits centers prioritizing billing control and guardian visibility; organizations seeking broader scale or a wider feature scope may prefer an alternative.
