Our verdict on PhishingBox
PhishingBox is a web-based cybersecurity training platform for organizations running phishing simulations and security awareness programs. It combines campaign scheduling, targeting, templates, analytics, remediation training, risk scoring, reporting, and threat-reporting workflows. Teams can use it to assign training after phishing events, measure user and organizational risk, and connect security awareness work with identity, HRIS, LMS, CRM, SIEM, and AI systems. Its audience includes direct customers, partners, and managed-service providers.
Pricing is organized into three annual per-seat tiers. Standard costs $16.50 per seat annually and includes Campaign Simulator, Phishing Simulator, Training Simulator, 70+ template languages, KillPhish, and just-in-time training. Professional costs $23.93 per seat annually and adds a learning management system, API, dedicated training portal, custom course creation, and a course library and store. Enterprise costs $31.35 per seat annually and adds callback phishing, KillPhish AI, Security Inbox, role-based comprehensive training, and SecurityTips. A 14-day trial is available, while the published plans do not include a free plan.
Integration breadth is a central strength. PhishingBox supports Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, Okta, OneLogin, Ping Identity, SAML 2.0, LDAP, Workday, BambooHR, Slack, and several LMS platforms including Bridge, Captivate, Cornerstone, Litmos, and SmarterU. REST API access and multi-client or reseller capabilities also support larger operational models. The tradeoff is tier structure: teams seeking AI threat-reporting tools, callback phishing, or the most comprehensive training capabilities need Enterprise. Smaller organizations needing only basic simulations may prefer a narrower platform, while teams managing varied identity, training, and reporting environments should find the broader scope a better fit.
