Our verdict on PenPencilEraser
PenPencilEraser is school management software for administrators, teachers, parents, and students. It brings together application and admission management, attendance, timetables, examinations, grades, portals, fees, payroll, reports, communications, and school website management. Schools can access it through web and Android interfaces, while self-hosted deployment is available for organizations that want an on-premises administration suite.
Pricing is structured around cloud hosting, on-premises licensing, and technical support. The Cloud Hosted Solution is a complete pack with a minimum requirement of 100 students. On-premises licenses are lifetime licenses with the complete pack: $12,500 for up to 500 students, $14,500 for 501 to 1,000 students, and $18,500 for 1,001 or more students. Annual technical support is priced at $120, $160, or $220 per month for those same student bands. This model suits schools that can justify a substantial upfront purchase and want lifetime licensing, while schools seeking a lower-commitment deployment may prefer the hosted option.
Its strongest case is breadth within core school administration. Application workflows, admissions, attendance, timetables, grade management, fee receipts, payroll, CCE report generation, and portals are covered in one product, with Citrus Tracker listed as an integration. The trade-off is a narrower ecosystem: schools requiring several external connections may find the integration scope restrictive, and transport management is not included. PenPencilEraser is a fit for schools prioritizing an all-in-one administrative system with self-hosting and portal access. Organizations focused on transport operations or a wider integration network should consider alternatives with those capabilities.
