Pencil combines AI-assisted 3D jewelry design with commerce tools in a browser-based platform. It is aimed at designers, jewelry businesses, retailers, and brands that want to create editable rings and pendants, prepare production-ready STL files, and publish shoppable product experiences. Design capabilities include templates, gemstone settings such as bezels and hidden halos, custom text engraving and embossing, AI-generated 3D components, and uploads of custom 2D and 3D files. The platform supports STL export and lists RapNet and Nivoda as integrations.
The plan structure separates core design access from professional commerce features. The Free plan includes the AI designer, templates and base designs, basic stone types and shapes, stone settings, STL downloads, and file uploads. According to the vendor's monthly pricing, Professional costs $39 per month and adds unlimited designs, 2D and 3D uploads, product photography generation, e-commerce features, and priority support.
