PawnSoft brings lending, sales and day-to-day shop operations into one pawn-shop management system. It is aimed at businesses that need to track loans and collateral alongside inventory, register activity and customer follow-ups. Loan workflows cover single- or multi-item contracts, redemptions and term extensions; shops can also manage direct item-purchase agreements for resale. Jewelry and precious-metals workflows are part of Starter, making the entry plan relevant to shops handling those categories as well as standard pawn transactions.

Pricing is split by operating model. Starter costs $0.14 per transaction per month and includes lending, sales, inventory and basic reporting. Pro costs $199 per location per month, adding repairs and servicing, advanced user roles and paperless operation; the webshop is an add-on. Enterprise includes unlimited users and locations, custom integrations, single sign-on, AI features, a dedicated account manager, priority onboarding and SLA-backed support. The transaction-based entry price may suit shops that prefer charges tied to activity, while businesses comparing costs should weigh their transaction volume against Pro’s location-based monthly price. Enterprise is oriented toward larger or more complex operations.

Operational breadth is a strength: cash-register logging and shift tracking sit alongside inventory status, item history and pricing, refunds, repair orders and repair-profit tracking. Multi-location register management supports shops operating across locations, while the integrated web shop extends the product beyond in-store workflows. PawnSoft is a fit for shops that want lending, retail and repair activity managed together, especially if Pro’s location pricing matches their needs. Shops that only need basic lending and sales can start with Starter, but those needing repairs must choose Pro; buyers who require specific integrations should assess Enterprise’s custom-integration option with the vendor before deciding.

PawnSoft pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Tracks loans, redemptions, extensions and customer reminders.
    • Manages inventory, register transactions, shifts and multiple locations.
    • Pro adds repair tracking; a webshop is available as an add-on.
  • Where it doesn't
    • Starter's per-transaction charge can grow with transaction volume.
    • Repairs and servicing are included in Pro, not Starter.
    • The webshop is an add-on to Pro rather than a listed core inclusion.
