PawnSmarts brings pawn lending, retail point of sale, inventory and customer records into a browser-based system for small and mid-market shops. Staff can create pawn and buy tickets, record payments and loan outcomes, scan driver's licenses to autofill customer records, and use barcodes for inventory lookup and sales. The software also calculates interest, fees and due dates using state rules. It suits shops looking to cover day-to-day lending and retail workflows in one product, rather than adopt separate tools for those tasks.

Its plans divide core operations from additional shop-management features. Essential costs $89 per month and includes pawn and buy tickets, retail POS and inventory, LEADS Online export, OFAC checks, reports and daily close. Professional is $129 per month, adding SMS and email reminders, online loan payments, advanced analytics, multi-location support, staff roles and layaway. Professional is also offered as a $2,995 one-time software license. The monthly entry plan covers broad single-location workflows, while shops that need online pledgor payments or multiple locations need Professional.

Platform flexibility is a notable fit: PawnSmarts is available on the web, Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, and the vendor says it can work offline and sync once connectivity returns. Integrations include LEADS Online, Stripe, Twilio, Resend and Supabase. That combination may suit shops that need continuity across devices and locations, but its advanced operational needs come at a higher plan price. Choose PawnSmarts if pawn lifecycle, retail and inventory coverage are priorities; shops seeking those Professional capabilities at the Essential price should compare alternatives.
