Patriot Accounting is online bookkeeping software for small businesses and accountants, with a feature set that fits gyms managing income, expenses, customer invoices, payroll entries, and contractors. It supports both cash and accrual accounting, automatic bank and credit-card transaction imports, account reconciliation, financial reports, receipt attachments, and contractor management. For a U.S. gym that wants accounting and payroll connections without a broad fitness-management suite, the product is focused on core financial administration.

Pricing is divided into two monthly plans. Accounting Basic costs $20 per month and includes unlimited customers and invoices, automatic bank imports, income and expense tracking, financial reporting, account reconciliation, and credit card payments. Accounting Premium costs $30 per month and adds estimates, recurring invoices, invoice payment reminders, receipt and document management, and user-based permissions. A 30-day trial is available, and the regular listed prices are separate from any temporary promotion. Gyms that need recurring member billing or additional staff permissions should account for the Premium tier.

The platform connects with Plaid and Stripe, as well as Patriot Basic Payroll, Patriot Full Service Payroll, QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Online. Payroll journal-entry integration, contractor portal access, and 1099 management extend its usefulness for gyms with employees or contractors. Its U.S.-address requirement narrows the fit, and the web-only platform may not suit teams seeking a dedicated desktop or mobile application. Choose Patriot Accounting for focused U.S. bookkeeping with payroll links; consider another option if international operations or broader gym-management features are central requirements.
