OVHcloud Fax provides business faxing through email, the OVHcloud customer area, desktop software, and, with Plug & Fax, a physical fax machine. It is aimed at organizations that need a dedicated fax number, inbound and outbound faxing, number portability, and access to sent and received documents. The service supports web, Windows, macOS, Linux, and API access, while the EcoFax virtual printer is available for Windows and macOS. Its listed compliance level is GDPR.

The published plans show two options at €0.99 per month, billed monthly. EcoFax Pro is the software-only choice, covering email and PC sending and receiving, a dedicated geographic number, number portability, and fax storage. Plug & Fax adds a preconfigured adapter and supports email, PC, and physical fax-machine sending and receiving. Both plans charge for fax sending in addition to the monthly subscription, so costs depend partly on outbound usage. Plug & Fax includes free and unlimited incoming fax reception, while international destinations use country-specific rates.

OVHcloud Fax’s strongest fit is a European desktop workflow that still depends on fax but does not require mobile apps or integrations. Email delivery of received faxes as PDF attachments, delivery acknowledgements, fax campaigns through the customer area, and automated sending through API functions cover several operational needs. The main trade-off is its narrow ecosystem: the product does not list integrations or mobile applications, and outbound faxing is usage-based rather than covered by a stated monthly page allowance. Choose it for low-cost desktop faxing, number portability, or physical-machine connectivity; consider an alternative if mobile access or broader integrations is central to the workflow.
