OurHOA review
A low-cost web portal for self-managed HOAs, with no accounting tools.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
OurHOA is web-based HOA management software for communities that manage their own operations, especially volunteer boards. Resident accounts provide portal access to announcements, documents, maintenance requests, dues, violations, elections, architectural requests, amenity reservations and meeting minutes. A community website builder is also included, with up to 20 pages. Its scope is operational rather than financial: it does not include accounting tools, so associations needing accounting in the same system should consider another product or retain separate software.
The Free plan costs $0 for up to 25 homes and includes the website builder, announcements with optional email delivery, maintenance requests, documents, a dues ledger, elections, violations, architectural review, amenity booking, vendor lists and meeting minutes. Online dues become available after Stripe verification. Pro costs $1 per home per month, with no minimum, and adds a document-based AI helper with 100 answers per community per day and text recognition for scanned PDFs. Premium costs $2 per home per month and adds AI meeting-minute drafts from transcripts, capped at 50 drafts per month and 10 per day, plus up to 500 AI helper answers per community per day. Stripe processing fees are separate from software pricing.
The product is cloud-based and accessed through the web; there is no native phone app, though the service works in a phone browser. Dues can be paid by card or ACH through Stripe, with fixed monthly autopay authorized by residents. Maintenance requests support photos and status tracking, while document publishing can be public or limited to members. These features make OurHOA a fit for smaller communities that want a shared portal without a software charge at the free tier. Boards that need built-in accounting, a native mobile app or tools designed for third-party property management should look elsewhere.
