Orgonaut is cloud software for modelling organisation structures, reporting lines, people, roles, agents, costs, allocations, and planned changes. It suits product-led companies, engineering-heavy SaaS teams, AI-forward organisations, and leaders managing significant organisational change. A Live baseline represents the current organisation, while separate scenarios support restructure planning before approval. Interactive chart and matrix views give teams more than a static hierarchy, with scope for analysing both reporting relationships and organisational capacity.

Planning depth is the product’s central strength. Scenario planning includes comparison, cloning, and promotion workflows, while cost, FTE, capacity, allocation, and role-coverage modelling support workforce decisions. CSV and OrgSpec imports include quarantine and review flows, and BambooHR and Dynamics 365 HR synchronization can help keep organisational models aligned with HR systems. Audit history, snapshots, lineage, and event logs add a record of how structures change. These capabilities make Orgonaut a better fit for recurring planning work than for teams that only need to publish a basic chart.

The Team plan costs €199 per month or €1,990 per year and includes scenario planning and cloning, Astro AI, RESTful API access, full change history, audit trail, and bulk imports. Business costs €499 per month or €4,990 per year and adds HRIS integrations, AI tooling integrations, Remote MCP access, and higher Astro usage limits. Enterprise adds unlimited actors, unlimited active scenarios, managed SAML and SSO, and customised RBAC controls; Agency adds whitelabel branding and multiple workspaces. With a 14-day trial but no free plan, Orgonaut suits larger teams that can use its modelling and integration depth. Smaller teams seeking a straightforward, lower-cost org chart should look elsewhere.

Orgonaut pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Scenario planning supports comparisons, cloning, promotions, and approvals.
    • Models cost, FTE, capacity, allocation, and role coverage.
    • Imports, HRIS sync, APIs, audit history, and AI workflows support planning.
  • Where it doesn't
    • Team starts at €199 per month and is limited to 75 actors.
    • Enterprise features such as SAML, SSO, and customised RBAC are gated.
    • Its planning depth may exceed the needs of teams wanting a simple org chart.
