Org Chart Studio is browser-based software for creating organizational charts from scratch or from CSV, Excel, or Google Sheets data. It supports table-based employee and manager editing alongside drag-and-drop hierarchy changes, making it suitable for individuals and small teams that need occasional or recurring chart updates. Charts can be built and stored for free, with support for up to 250 people on every published plan.
Pricing is structured around export access rather than recurring per-seat charges. The Always plan is free and includes watermarked PNG exports. The 1-Day plan costs $1 one-time for clean exports for 24 hours, while the 7-Day plan costs $5 one-time for a week of clean exports. The 30-Day plan costs $10 one-time, and the Annual plan costs $100 one-time, with clean exports available for 30 days or a year respectively. Each plan supports up to 250 people. This setup fits teams that export charts on a defined schedule, although users needing ongoing clean exports must select a new time period or the annual option.
For chart creation, Org Chart Studio combines fuzzy matching and import-error review with custom themes, spacing presets, and paginated export preview. It can export to PNG, PDF, PowerPoint, and CSV, and it offers MCP and OpenAPI access for AI agents. The product is web-based and supports custom fields, but it does not provide live directory or HRIS synchronization, and it lacks third-party integrations. Workday and BambooHR workflows are export-and-import processes rather than live connections.
