OpenDrive is a cloud storage and content-management service for individuals, businesses, and service providers. It combines online file access, automated computer backup, folder synchronization, file and folder sharing, version recovery, online editing, notes, and task management. The Free plan is suited to personal use, while Personal, Business, and Reseller plans extend storage, administration, collaboration, or partner capabilities.
For personal users, the Free plan includes 5 GB of online storage, a 100 MB maximum file size, 1 GB of daily bandwidth, automatic syncing and backup, and online notes and tasks. Personal adds unlimited storage, file size, and bandwidth, along with file versioning, encryption, and support for up to four account users. Business adds user administration, access management, activity notifications, and branding. Reseller adds account-user management, reselling capabilities, and white-label partner features. A 7-day free trial is available.
OpenDrive fits organizations that want storage and collaboration in one service, especially when online editing and version restoration matter. It supports web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, API, WebDAV, WordPress, and odrive access. Business administration includes users, groups, folder permissions, and activity logs. The main trade-off is the Free plan's storage, file-size, and bandwidth limits, while client-side AES-256 encryption through Secure Files is limited to desktop applications rather than the website or mobile apps. Choose OpenDrive for broad platform coverage and integrated file tools; consider an alternative if mobile or browser-based client-side encryption is essential.
