Open eLMS is a cloud-based learning management system for organisations, businesses and educational providers. It supports online and blended learning through eLearning, video and file uploads, classroom events, assessments, certificates, learner ePortfolios, learning pathways and programmes. It suits teams that want a broad LMS at a low annual cost, as well as education providers managing structured learning content and outcomes.

The published plans show a useful freemium structure. Open eLMS Standard costs £0 per year and includes 200 eLearning credits, up to 3 external eLearning courses, up to 3 smart classroom events, content uploads and branding. Open eLMS Professional costs £10 per user per year, billed annually, and removes the limits on external eLearning courses and smart classroom events. Open eLMS LMS Enterprise costs £35 per user per year and adds AI-powered recommendations, learning programmes, unlimited forms, Report Builder, Power BI integration and a unique domain. The £69 per user per year LMS Enterprise AI plan adds AI Chat powered by the LMS and MCP/API automation links.

Its platform and ecosystem coverage is a central strength.
