OpeEye review
A low-cost OEE system for teams combining manual entry with optional machine counting.

OpeEye is cloud-based machine monitoring and production-tracking software for CNC and VMC machine shops. It gives teams a live view of machines, operators, and jobs while recording production, rejects, downtime, breakdown reasons, tool changes, and job activity. OEE can be calculated per machine and job, with job costing, tool-life tracking, job timelines, and production history included. Operators can enter data on Android tablets using PIN login, while the product is also available on the web and iOS. Offline capture with later synchronization supports shop-floor work when connectivity is interrupted.
Pricing is straightforward at the listed entry point: the Manual plan costs INR 399 per machine per month and includes a live floor board, production versus target, rejects and downtime with reasons, OEE, job costing, tool-life tracking, and unlimited users. The Automatic plan is also INR 399 per machine per month and adds automatic piece counting plus running and standing time from an auto-count box. It can optionally connect directly to a CNC controller, while the tablet remains available for rejects, reasons, and jobs. Automatic counting also adds a one-time hardware cost quoted during the demo, and pricing above 15 machines is volume-based and quoted on request.
The main choice is between simpler manual capture and more automated machine data. Both plans cover core OEE, downtime, quality, reporting, and floor visibility, while the Automatic option reduces counting and state-entry work through boxes or CNC controllers. Alerts and automatic production and shift reports add operational visibility for supervisors. OpeEye suits budget-conscious shops that need practical OEE tracking across web, Android, and iOS without committing to automatic hardware immediately. Teams outside CNC or VMC manufacturing, or those seeking a broader general-purpose production platform, should consider a different category fit.
