Onramp Custody review
Client-controlled Bitcoin custody with a free tier and paid vault plans.

Onramp Custody is a cloud-based Bitcoin custody service for individuals, families, businesses, advisors, and institutions seeking long-term Bitcoin storage. Its defining choice is a 2-of-3 quorum: three independent institutions protect a vault, and two must authorize a withdrawal. Clients authorize custody activity without holding private keys or managing seed phrases, hardware wallets, or key ceremonies. The service is available on the web, with email and phone support and SOC 2 compliance listed.
The plans split basic Bitcoin services from multi-institution vault custody. Finance is free and includes an Onramp wallet, buying and selling Bitcoin, Bitcoin-backed loans, and custody at a qualified custodian. Core costs $250 per month and adds Multi-Institution Custody vaults, IRA vault custody, inheritance planning, Guardian Plus, and real-time proof of reserves. Business is $375 per month, with vaults, integrated inheritance planning, proof of reserves, user management, and account controls and approvals. Private includes a dedicated account manager, reduced trade fees, Guardian Plus, and Virtual Family Office access; its price is not stated here. The free tier is useful for basic services, but the listed Multi-Institution Custody vaults begin with Core.
For buyers focused on long-term Bitcoin protection, the independent authorization model is paired with on-chain vault verification and real-time proof of reserves. Guardian offers withdrawal controls such as time-based delays and limits; inheritance planning and IRA custody address additional individual and family needs, while Business adds approval controls. This is a narrow fit rather than a multi-network custody platform: supported network coverage is one, and the custody model is multisignature rather than MPC. Choose Onramp if Bitcoin-only, quorum-based custody is the priority; consider a broader custody option if coverage across multiple networks or MPC is required.
