Olo Ordering review
A multi-location ordering platform with branded storefronts, APIs, and capacity controls.

Olo Ordering is an online ordering platform for single-brand, regional, and enterprise restaurant operators. It supports custom-branded storefronts for website ordering, with pickup, delivery, curbside, and other handoff modes. Restaurants can manage menus across digital channels, connect POS and payment systems, and provide direct ordering through Olo’s Serve white-label engine or a custom front end connected through the Ordering API. Delivery capabilities can also be extended through Olo Dispatch.
Pricing follows a contact-sales model rather than published self-serve plans. Prospective customers are directed to request a demo, and standard plan pricing, location limits, and order limits are not listed. The platform’s integration fit is broad: published integrations include Clover, HungerRush, Oracle MICROS Simphony, NCR Aloha, Toast, Square, Revel, PAR, Qu, Xenial, and XPIENT. That range makes Olo a practical candidate for restaurant groups operating across different POS environments, while its web and API options support both ready-made and custom digital ordering channels.
Its strongest operational focus is control over ordering volume and digital merchandising. Olo includes order throttling, customizable capacity rules, predictive quoting and capacity management, coupon management, reporting dashboards, and AI- and machine-learning-powered cross-selling. These capabilities suit brands that need centralized oversight across locations and channels. Olo Ordering is a strong fit for enterprise chains and growing restaurant groups with integration and capacity-management requirements. Smaller operators or buyers seeking transparent plan pricing and a simpler ordering setup may prefer a narrower, self-serve solution.
