Our verdict on OH! MY FONT.
OH! MY FONT. is a subscription service for designers, creators, businesses, and other users producing print, digital, video, branding, and promotional materials. It provides approximately 300 Japanese design typefaces through a desktop application for Windows and macOS. The library includes full character sets without a character-count limit, and the listed commercial-use permissions cover print, promotional, video, and other stated uses. Its focus makes it particularly relevant to teams and individuals who need Japanese typography in desktop creative workflows.
The service is built around desktop font activation rather than standalone file delivery. The OMF app lets users activate and deactivate fonts, with one-click activation and device switching through the account dashboard. Compatibility with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Figma supports common design and presentation workflows. Supported fonts may also include OpenType discretionary ligatures. This makes OH! MY FONT. a practical fit for users who want a managed library available inside established desktop applications, while the catalog’s Japanese design focus may be narrower than a general-purpose font marketplace.
Pricing is structured around a 14-day trial and an annual subscription. The trial includes approximately 300 typefaces, no character-count limit, and commercial use permitted. The annual plan lists 300 typefaces, no character-count limit, and commercial use permitted, with the annual subscription shown at ¥26,400 per year. Annual subscriptions renew unless cancelled. Users choosing OH! MY FONT. should be comfortable with a subscription model and desktop activation. It is less suited to projects that need web-font deployment, server installation, font embedding, or distribution without obtaining separate permission under the licensing terms.
