ODoptik brings appointment scheduling, patient records, optometry exam documentation, prescriptions, invoicing and reporting into a browser-based practice management system. Its workflows cover visual acuity, refraction, slit lamp, fundus, IOP and assessment, alongside eyeglass, contact lens and medication prescriptions. Patients can book through a page that lets them choose a location, provider, appointment type and time. That combination makes it a fit for clinics that want clinical documentation and booking in one system, especially small practices or those coordinating multiple locations.
The plan structure scales by practice footprint and administration needs. Single Shop covers one clinic location and includes unlimited staff accounts, clinical modules, self-booking, custom branding and reporting. Multiple Shops extends the setup to unlimited locations under one tenant, with centralised administration and cross-location reporting. Enterprise includes those Multiple Shops features, plus a self-hosted option, multiple independent tenant organisations, a custom domain and white-label branding. According to the vendor’s pricing approach, plans are quote-based, so practices need to contact sales rather than compare fixed published rates. Single Shop and Multiple Shops run on managed cloud infrastructure; self-hosting is an Enterprise option.
Operationally, ODoptik connects provider- and location-specific calendars with configurable SMS and email reminders, patient histories, invoices and payment tracking. Square card payments are optional, as is insurance eligibility verification. The soft e-prescription workflow transmits non-controlled prescriptions by PDF or programmable fax. Staff roles, location management, clinic branding, dashboards and reports round out the administrative side. Choose ODoptik if these clinical and booking workflows align with the clinic’s needs, particularly across locations. Practices requiring confirmed optical stock tracking or telehealth workflows should assess alternatives against those requirements before choosing.
