NextSale is a mobile point-of-sale application built for retailers using Oracle NetSuite. It brings in-store checkout, inventory and item information, customer lookup, purchase history, returns, credit memos, promotions and discounts into a retail workflow connected to NetSuite. The software is aimed at mid-market and enterprise businesses operating one or more locations, particularly retailers that need mobile checkout alongside register controls and offline order capture.

Its strongest fit is the combination of NetSuite connectivity and retail transaction depth. Staff can accept cash, cards, checks, gift cards and QR codes, while managers can authorize discounts by role, open and close registers, review payment-method balances and access reports by cashier. Offline order submission supports continued order capture without an active connection. Hardware integrations cover cash drawers, customer displays and Oracle workstations. The published integration list also includes Square and Stripe, giving retailers additional payment and platform connections within the stated ecosystem.

The main trade-off is platform scope: NextSale is available for iOS and is deployed as a mobile application, so organizations standardizing on other device platforms should look elsewhere. SuitePOS Unlimited includes unlimited users and stores, along with unlimited modules and support. SuitePOS Enterprise is an annual subscription for larger retailers with enterprise requirements, with pricing varying by configuration. The product also has no free plan. Retailers that already run Oracle NetSuite and need offline selling, multi-location support, permissions, hardware connections and cashier reporting should consider NextSale. Businesses seeking broad platform coverage, a free tier or a simpler standalone POS may prefer an alternative.

NextSale pros and cons

    • Offline order submission supports selling when connectivity is unavailable.
    • NetSuite-connected inventory, customer, returns and sales workflows.
    • Cash controls, role-based discounts and cashier reports support retail operations.
  • Where it doesn't
    • Platform coverage is limited to iOS devices.
    • Paid plans only; no free plan is available.
    • Enterprise pricing varies by configuration and requires an annual subscription.
