Nextiva is a cloud business communications platform for small businesses, enterprises, and contact centers. It combines business calling with SMS and MMS, video meetings, team chat, voicemail, call routing, analytics, recording, and business numbers. Teams can use it through web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android applications. Its phone-system features include auto attendants, custom menus, dial-by-name directories, call groups, queues, voicemail transcription, call forwarding, local and toll-free numbers, and number porting. The breadth makes it a fit for growing businesses that want phone operations and internal communications in one system.

Pricing is organized into three annual plans. Core costs $15 per user per month and includes inbound and outbound voice, Business SMS, video meetings, screen and file sharing, call routing, and team chat. Engage costs $25 per user per month and adds customer-to-team SMS, a toll-free number and minutes, advanced reporting, an inbound call center, live chat, and a chatbot. Scale costs $75 per user per month and adds voice and web chat, blended inbound and outbound communications, AI transcription and summaries, skills-based routing, and journey orchestration. Annual pricing eligibility is limited to new small-business customers with 1–100 employees signing a paid 12-month-or-longer minimum-term agreement.

Platform fit is a major strength. Nextiva connects with Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, Zapier, Zoho, ServiceNow, Google Contacts, and Outlook Contacts. Its visual call-flow builder supports time-based rules and business hours, while custom reports and call analytics support operational oversight. Businesses needing a unified phone, messaging, routing, and integration layer should consider it. Organizations seeking a free option or only basic calling may prefer a simpler paid system, while contact centers needing more advanced capabilities should compare the Engage and Scale plans closely.
