Nexon Launcher review
A free Windows and macOS launcher focused on managing and playing Nexon games.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
Nexon Launcher is a free desktop application for downloading, installing, updating, and launching supported Nexon games. It is aimed at players who want one place to access those titles, rather than a general-purpose launcher for games from multiple publishers. The app supports Windows and macOS, and requires a Nexon account for sign-in. Players can also activate games with product codes or link a Nexon account with Steam for supported games.
The launcher’s core value is game management: it brings supported titles into a centralized library, applies background client updates, and can verify installed game files before launch. That makes it relevant for players who want to keep Nexon game installations organized and current through the publisher’s own desktop app. Its scope is deliberately tied to Nexon’s supported catalog; players seeking a single library for titles across multiple publishers should consider a broader launcher instead.
Nexon Launcher is free to download, with no separate launcher plan described. Purchases of NX are available through the app, so the free launcher should be distinguished from any game or in-game spending. Steam account linking adds an option for playing supported Nexon games through Steam, but does not make the launcher a general Steam replacement. Choose it if you play Nexon titles and want centralized installation, updates, and file checks; skip it if you need broader storefront aggregation or game-library features outside that focus.
