Nexiel Screen review
A transparent API screening option for small teams with human review and audit evidence.

Nexiel Screen is a standalone AML, KYC, sanctions and politically exposed person screening API for solicitors, accountants, fintechs and other AML-obliged firms. It screens names, dates of birth and nationalities against OFAC SDN, UN, EU FISMA and HMT UK sources, along with aggregated and direct public-source PEP datasets. Results are classified as clear, possible match or confirmed match, with possible matches routed to mandatory human review.
Pricing is straightforward for smaller teams. The Starter plan costs $79 per month and includes sanctions and PEP screening API access, a human-reviewed possible-match queue and standard rate limits. Growth costs $249 per month and adds higher volume and rate limits plus priority support. Usage beyond Growth’s included volume is priced at $0.40 per check under the Enterprise overage option, without a separate contract requirement. Production access requires KYB approval, and Nexiel sets clients up directly. The service is available through the web and API, with OpenAPI, Swagger UI, and TypeScript and Python SDKs supporting implementation.
Its strongest differentiator is the combination of matching depth and review controls: exact, full-text, Levenshtein and phonetic matching sit alongside clear classifications, human review, configurable supplementary rules, encrypted evidence packs and a hash-chained audit trail. Optional cryptocurrency wallet-address screening extends the workflow beyond names. Nexiel Screen suits teams that want a documented API and transparent monthly entry point rather than a broad operational compliance suite. Organizations needing transaction screening, batch workflows or ongoing record monitoring should assess whether their requirements fit the documented screening scope before choosing it.
