Newline Engage Cloud is a browser-based interactive whiteboard for teachers and students in remote, hybrid, and in-person instructional settings. Teachers can create instructor, student, and group boards, then monitor student work in real time through a grid view. That makes it a fit for classroom activities where educators need visibility into individual work as well as shared collaboration, rather than simply providing an open board for a team to explore freely.

Classroom controls are a notable part of the product. Participants can be invited by link, QR code, class code, Microsoft Teams, or Google Classroom. Teachers can use polls, class timers, and student raise-hand requests alongside drawing, text, shapes, arrows, a math editor, and handwriting recognition. PDF, image, Google Drive, audio, and video uploads support work with existing instructional materials. The product also supports Google Classroom, Google Drive, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft OneNote integrations, making it most relevant to schools already working in those ecosystems.

Newline Engage Cloud is described as free, and the published product information gives no paid tier to compare. Boards can be exported and downloaded as PDFs or other supported formats. One constraint is that board size can be configured and capped, so it is not an infinite canvas. The service is web-based and supports access through Newline displays and internet-connected devices. Choose it for monitored classroom collaboration and built-in lesson controls; consider another whiteboard if an unrestricted canvas or broader workshop-oriented toolkit is central to the work.
