NESS Anti-Cheat Reloaded is a self-hosted Minecraft server plugin for detecting movement and combat cheats. It is aimed at solo operators and small server teams running Spigot, Paper, or forks of either, with compatibility listed for Minecraft 1.8 through 1.17.1. The plugin is free and open-source, with source code published under the GNU GPL v3 or later. Its latest listed release is version 3.0.6Beta.

Its strongest area is the combination of detection and configurable enforcement. Listed coverage includes movement cheats, combat cheats, flight, speed, kill aura, aimbot, scaffold, timer, inventory hacks, chest stealer, phase, and no fall. Administrators can set violation thresholds and apply instant kicks, lag-back responses, movement cancellation, staff notifications, and violation logging. Player reporting, debug mode, a developer API, and violation events add options for staff workflows and custom integrations. GeyserMC, Floodgate, BungeeCord, and Discord webhooks extend its fit across proxy, Bedrock, and notification setups.

The main trade-off is its age and compatibility range. Support is listed through Minecraft 1.17.1, and current compatibility beyond that version is not established. The plugin also depends on self-hosted administration and community support rather than a broader support structure. Choose NESS Anti-Cheat Reloaded when a legacy Spigot- or Paper-based server needs core movement and combat checks without a paid plan. Choose an alternative when newer Minecraft versions, formal support, or a more current release cycle are essential.
