National Tenant Network provides resident-screening services for property owners, landlords, property managers, multifamily housing managers, public housing authorities, and property investors. Its coverage includes credit reports from Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion; eviction and lease-violation history; county, statewide, and multi-state criminal searches; SSN and identity checks; landlord and employment verification; applicant scoring; rental analysis; and FCRA-compliant rejection letters. Online screening report requests are available 24/7, and the company has operated since 1980.

The pricing structure is built around a one-time NTN Membership fee of $35, which provides access to subscriber screening resources and on-demand reports. The NTN Tenant Performance Report costs $8.50 per search and includes eviction and lease-violation history, an SSN check, an OFAC search, and previous landlord identification. County Criminal Search and Statewide Criminal Search each cost $15 per search, while Multi-state Criminal Search costs $20 per search. Credit reports require subscriber credentialing and bureau-related inspection, and availability and pricing can vary by location.

The product’s main strength is breadth within tenant screening rather than a broad property-management ecosystem. Operators can combine credit, rental-history, criminal, identity, landlord, and employment information with scoring and rental analysis, then use rejection-letter workflows when needed. The tradeoff is a web-only platform with limited integrations, making it less suitable for teams that need extensive connected workflows or a wider operating platform. Choose National Tenant Network when established rental-housing operators prioritize low-cost searches and screening coverage; consider an alternative when integration depth or platform breadth is the primary requirement.
