myJobManager review
Broad construction accounting and compliance tools for small UK contractors.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
myJobManager is a UK-built cloud platform for construction firms, trades businesses, field-service contractors and light manufacturers. It combines quoting, job management, purchasing, invoicing, payroll, CIS, VAT, accounting, reporting and statutory accounts. Construction businesses can manage live job costs, project margins, payment applications, retentions, subcontractor deductions and site workflows across web, iOS and Android. It is particularly suited to small UK contractors that want accounting and construction administration in one system.
Pricing is structured around user numbers rather than separate feature tiers. The Users 1–5 plan costs £30 per user per month, while Users 6+ costs £25 per user per month. Both plans include all features, use monthly contracts and can be cancelled at any time. Prices exclude VAT, and there is no free plan. The paid plans cover double-entry accounting, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow reporting, purchase orders, stock and materials tracking, payroll, CIS deductions, MTD VAT filing and Companies House submissions. For a small contractor, the main value is that construction-specific functions are included at the entry price rather than reserved for a higher tier.
Its strongest fit is for UK teams that need a connected workflow from site activity through financial reporting. Mobile users can record timesheets, photos, signatures and site information, while office staff can track subcontractor costs, payment applications and retention release invoicing. JCT and NEC support makes the platform more relevant to contract-based construction work than general accounting software, and integrations with HMRC, Companies House and NEST pensions support UK compliance processes. Businesses seeking only basic bookkeeping may find the broader construction and project controls unnecessary; contractors needing job costing, payroll, CIS and payment administration in one platform should find the feature coverage more aligned with daily operations.
