Moxion is a browser-based AI GIF and media tool for creators, marketers, ecommerce teams, and social-media users. It can generate GIFs from text prompts or still images, convert video clips to GIFs, and handle practical editing tasks such as compression, resizing, cropping, speed adjustment, and GIF-to-MP4 conversion. Its toolkit also includes prompt and GIF templates, branding, and text overlays, with GIFs up to 15 seconds long. It suits users who want both AI creation and conventional GIF editing in one web-based workspace.
Pricing is split between a free tier, one-time credit packs, and monthly subscriptions. The Free plan provides one shared free AI generation per day, basic GIF tools, and a two-second preview GIF, with a Moxion watermark on free AI GIFs. The Starter Pack costs $9 one time for 1,000 credits, the Creator Pack costs $29 for 4,000 credits, and the Studio Pack costs $79 for 12,000 credits; credits never expire. These packs provide about 10, 40, and 120 Standard GIFs respectively, with no watermark when purchased credits fully fund the AI GIF. Monthly plans start at Starter for $19 per month with 2,000 credits and continue with Pro at $49 per month with 6,000 credits. Both include Brand Kits and watermark-free AI GIFs generated during an active subscription, while Pro adds Pro GIF access.
Moxion’s main strength is breadth: prompt-to-GIF, image animation, video-to-GIF conversion, templates, editing, compression, resizing, and format conversion cover several common GIF workflows. The paid plans also support repeat branding through reusable Brand Kits, while eligible GIFs can finish at zero credits. Choose Moxion if you want flexible creation and editing with either expiring-free? no, credits that never expire or recurring monthly credits. It is less suitable for users who need a native platform option, unrestricted free exports, or watermark-free AI GIFs without paying for credits or a subscription.
