Momen review
A capable web app builder with strong backend and AI workflow foundations.

Momen is a browser-based no-code platform for building, deploying, and hosting full-stack web applications. It is aimed at founders, designers, and teams that want to create web products without maintaining separate frontend and backend infrastructure. The visual builder works alongside a built-in PostgreSQL-backed relational database, configurable authentication, permissions, third-party API connections, generated GraphQL APIs, and managed hosting. Its focus is broader than interface design: Momen covers core application logic, data, users, deployment, and AI workflows in one environment.
The plan structure makes the product easy to evaluate but places clear boundaries around the free tier. Free includes the full visual builder, one API, one Actionflow, one AI agent, preview access only, and a Momen.app domain. Basic is $33 per project per month with annual billing and adds unlimited APIs, unlimited Actionflows, unlimited AI agents, bring-your-own-model support, custom domains, white labelling, and SEO. Pro is $85 per project per month with annual billing and adds payments, single sign-on, multiple clients, 10 collaborators, 25 requests per second at peak, and 1 GB of database storage. The paid tiers therefore matter most when an app needs public deployment, broader automation, branding control, collaboration, or business-oriented features.
Momen’s strongest fit is for web applications with meaningful backend requirements and AI-driven processes. Actionflows can respond to schedules, data changes, and webhooks, while integrations include Airtable, Zapier, Stripe, OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Qwen, and Cohere. Authentication supports username, email, phone, and third-party sign-in, and permissions can be role-based or attribute-based. The trade-off is platform scope: Momen supports web and API use, but not mobile publishing. Choose it for a full-stack web product that needs data, workflows, authentication, and deployment together; consider another builder if native mobile delivery is central or if the Basic plan’s per-project pricing does not suit broader app needs.
